why ratan tata chose the gujrat for NENO car plant

Gujrat is politically stable state. Gujratis are dominant businessmen community. There is ban on liquor in the state since its inception. Tata has his roots in Gujrat and one of the reasons may be facility of ports which will fecilitate movement of goods.

Gujarat has a good investment climate with lot of fiscal benefits. Besides a trouble free labour environment has tilted the decision for Gujarat

hey ..dude....its not TATA ........its modi who got him in gujurat ....MR.modi invited him ...n sanctioned land for him even before they started the talks.......coz mr.modi ....knows NANO project is golden opportunity to get recognized .....clever man ..

TATAs are pure businessmen. In the business matters they are guided by neat objective reasons only. l bet any body to prepare a list of the reasons effecting the decision to shift NANO factory to Sanand, whiich would not be any where near TATA is list of such reasons.

Our Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi is simpy one of scores of such factors.

Though Tata is were offered land in different states including Andhra Pradesh, wherein the state government has agreed to bear 1/2 of the loss incurred ( 1500 crores) by the TATA is to setup the factory in West Bengal.


The reason why Ratan TATA happen to select gujarat for home to NANO Car would be viewed in 2 aspects.

1. Gujarat is becoming one of the most industrial promoting state of the country.
2. The land that is being allotted to TATA at gujarat is pertaining to an agricultural university, so there would no more opposition from public, other wise if the land had to be collected & given to the TATA's.
