well it is a blessing for the middle class man with the introduction of the Nano by the TATA enterprise so yes the sales will be very high & in a few years may even replace the two wheeler as the largest vehicle (in terms of sheer numbers) on the road.
But in my opinion the introduction of the nano should be delayed by atleast 5yrs or more because of the fact of poor infrastructure of roads in this country,, with nano will come for traffic clogging jams & delays to reach destination...
so it is a blessing as well as a curse in time to come...for we yet do not have the pace to meet up with the demands for the road as compared for the demands for the car.

Nano will force other companies to make the prices of their cars cheap.

TAta is offering a car at the cost of a good bike i.e Rs100000 only(taxes extra).
It will cause havoc as it will cause congestion in cities and lifeline in villages!

not new innovations,but a lot more competition and research as other car makers will try to make something better and cheaper

That junk will do nothing for the global market, Honda is going to be the biggest and best car manufacturer by 2020.

Making the most fuel efficient, most reliable, most safest cars on the roads of the world.

You will see brands disappear with the current financial climate, and how Honda will grow.

door handle uses 70% lesser parts compared to average European car
Window rolling mechanism is borrowed from helicopter- simpler mechanism
