what happened to tata nano project in singur

aftr sm prety serious troubls ovr singur land aquisition for nano factory , ratan tata finaly muvd out of bengal and shiftd factory to gujrat. nano wil b cumng on time he said.

because the opposition party made big issues about the land tatas choose they had to withdraw with a loss of 400 crores

He started Nano in west Bengal because of political stability. But Mamta Benji did every thing Matia mate. Now he has gone to Gujrate which is also politically stable. It never had Hung Vidhan Sabha like Karnataka ot Utter Pradesh. If he has not gone to Gujrate next was Andhra Pradesh. Because it has also not send Hung Vidhan Sabha. .When one party comes to power there will be stability & for five years on type of policy.
West Bengal was best choice but his calculation misfired. hamesh sidhi nahi chadetey kabhi kabhi sanmp kha jata hai.Hota hai kabhi kabhi This thing happen in W B.
other 'cause if this car comes in the market no body will purchase second hand car so might be they r also the cause to send away this car. so that praise will go up.

land for tata project was acquired by WB govt. (900acres approx) from the farmers of Singur. Most sold it willingly, some were unhappy. Trinamul took advantage of this to deface the WB govt., inciting the farmers to agitate. They demanded compensation for their land, which was not agreeable to the Govt. Then they demanded 400 acres to be returned, which was not agreeable to Tatas. Because of continued disruption of work & threat to safety of the employees, Tatas decided to move out, since they had a deadline to meet to roll out nano. Singur dialed M for Mamta, Tatas dialed M for Modi.

Its dropped at Bengal and moved to Gujarat. Many states offered a lands including TN and Karnataka. Ratan opted for Gujarat. He had a loss of around 1000 crores.

the plant has now been moved to Gujrat, Sanand. It might take a year or so for it to be constructed and operational-

Only time can answer to this question.Definitely a shock was needed to the residents of Singur as well as West Bengal.If they understand that Mamta Banerjee and industrialisation/development does not go together.If they understand that there is no replacement of Industrialisation for modern India,many big projects will come including Tata.
