Okay, ive been hearing bout the cheapest car on earth called Tata Nano. Its indian made (ive never even heard of the company!). l dont think its a bad car based on what ive seen so far. Honestly if it were me, if everything looked good, id buy it! O_O Its only like, 2,500! But is it worth the buy? Whats its MPG? SInce its from such an unknown company, will be expensive to fix if it has problems? And btw, l think it looks great, especially for a young girl like me.
Man that stinks. l make a lot of short trips that go under 60 mph, so it wouldve been great for those :/ l already got a toyota for the highway ):

You will never see that model here, it was not designed with our safety requirements in mind, so it is highly unlikely that it would pass the crash tests. In addition, it was not designed to go 70 mph all day either, so it would be too slow for US roads.

Maybe Tata will import cars into the US at some point, but it wo not be this one.

BTW - they recently acquired Jaguar from Ford - they r a big car company, they just have not done business in North America before.

Just the name alone would be a reason not to buy it. What do you drive? Oh l drive a Tato Nano. Every one would look at you like you're nuts.

l doubt that car will ever be sold here, Tata is still having disputes over where it will be built. Disgruntled employees for Tata have already killed a supplier CEO. This car has already caused a lot of problems in India, l just feel bad for investors.

First of all u US citizens r pretty rich & secondly The TATA family is pretty famous in & around Asia, The best thing to to is to ask an Indian like me & also the mileage of Nano is about 17kms(not sure how much that is in miles). l assume & ya even if Nano makes it to the US, It will not be bought by everyone, However there r some interesting feature in the car like AC & Power Windows & Electronic Steering which is pretty much enough, The Nano would be bought by some person who has not other option rather to buy a seven hundred dollar 2hand vehicle, The Nano is main goal is to make it the people car so that everyone can have a dream of having a car but as l said the impact of Nano will be in Asia & not in the US & definitely not in the US.

Plus the Tata is dont have only 1 business they have invested in Telecom & Insurance & also they produce Commercial Vehicles like Buses & they also have their own Military trucks & tanks.
